Most gentle greeting all, and Happy Father's Day to our Dads!
I makes me really happy to tell you all that the revised MoL handbook is now available for printing in .pdf version on the KMoL website. Please note that the html version on the website is the previous 2000 version, as it will take some more time for Master Roland to turn all that info into html and get it up there for us. He has been awsome to get this and all the other updates up so quickly so we can all get prompt access, so great big thank to him for this too!
Now, this revision has updated a good 80% or so of the material in the Handbook, so every MoL needs to print this off and and read this so that they are completely familiar with the policies and procedures contained in it. All the forms that MoLs are currently suppose to be useing are in it, as well as several tourney trees, some of which are new. No matter how long you have been an MoL, you must obtain this new version and become familiar with the content, as it contains the current correct procedures for all MoL officers. I will give all MoLs some time to obtain and become familiar with the new content, but after that all MoLs will be expected to know the correct procedures and use the correct forms.
"But that thing is 96 pages long and I don't have internet access!" you say? Well, we thought of that. :+)
If there is any reason that keeps you from being able to obtain your copy of the new Handbook, please contact your Regional Deputy KMoL for assistance. They will take your name and verify your mailing address so a copy can be gotten to you. If you have any problems contacting your Regional, please contact me directly and I will handle the situation myself.
This Handbook is a required part of being an MoL, and all MoLs will be required to follow the procedures it containes. Failure to do so will endanger your warrant. However, there will be ample opportunities given to attend classes to update training and ask questions and receive the answers needed.
If you are a warranted MoL and are not on the Yahoo e-group for our Kingdom's MoLs, please drop me a note so you can be subscribed as this notice was posted with more details to that list. The quarterly mailing to all warranted MoLs will also be going out shortly with a notice as well.
Lastly, a huge thank you also to Master John, Mistress Ilse and Mistress Theo for helping me make this happen. I couldn't have done it this quickly or this correctly without all their help and counsel.
Please feel free to send me a message off-list with any questions or comments and I'll answer as soon as I can!
Thank you all for your time. Now, enjoy your Father's Day everyone!
Ever in service,
Adeliza
KMoL
