Good Gentles,

If you are attending (or wanting to attend) the Kingdom Archery Championship hosted by Bright Hills,
we have a way of lessening the impact on your coin purse:

Crash Space.

Several members of the Barony have taken the plunge and have volunteered to host folks as a way of getting to know others from different Baronies, and to defray the cost of Event travel for folks coming up here.

Granted, we are a  four-county Barony, so not all of our hosts are right next door to the Event.

As a disclaimer, my Lady wife and I are doing the database setup and coordination and have not done this sort of thing before.  There may be difficulties.  Hopefully, these will be few and readily remedied.

We have a database set up with available space, allergens, smoking/non, kid-friendly/childproof/no kids.  If you want to be on the list for crash space, we need your:

Name and Barony
Adults/children in the party (age, not attitude)
Any allergens or allergies (we have cats/dogs/Pet Rocks, we are allergic to cats/dogs/Komodo Dragons)
Smoker or not, can stay with smokers or not

It will be a (generally) first-come/first served deal, with distance travelled being given preference as a tiebreaker.

Please send requests to village_of_doune at att.net as soon as possible before Bright Hills' events (any - not just KAC) and we'll see if we can get you set up.  Have "Request" and the event in the subject line.
