Greetings to the list and wishes for happiness and good health to all who  do 
read this missive. Please, pass this information along to other individuals  
and lists where such information will be welcomed.
 
It is my great pleasure and honor to announce Sacred Stone's Baronial  
Birthday Celebration. Mark your calendars and plan to come, relax and  enjoy.
 
Name of Event:  Sacred Stone Baronial Birthday
Date(s) of Event:  September 8-10, 2006
Hosting Group:  Canton of Crois  Brigte

Description:  Come relax and celebrate the founding of Sacred  Stone. Come 
tell your war stories and laugh and sing with friends. In the  tradition of the 
Manesse Codex, courtly love, high chivalry and acts of courage,  valor and 
honor will be lauded this day. Bring your favors to bestow and your  pennons to 
fly.

Martial Activities:  Baron Achbar ibn Ali is MiC.  Friday night TorchLight 
Torney, Saturday 3-man tourney limited to one member of  the chivalry each and 
Singles tourneys as well. Baronial Youth, Heavy, Rapier  and Archery Champions 
will also be chosen this day.

Lord Christophe of  Grey is devising Archery competitions. Lady Ursula de 
Nunez is organizing  Equestrian events and Sir Axel will make certain the Youth 
Fighters have combat  as well.

Arts & Sciences Activities:  Asszony Bessenyei Rozsa  has a great line up of 
A&S competitions with one caveat,  entrants must  attend the event. Anyone can 
display and ask for input, but if you  want to  compete, just like the 
archers and the fighters, you must attend.

4)  Open  competition
5)  Open display
6)  Bardic competition for  Bardic Champion during feast
7)  Brewing competition
8)  Scrivener competition

b) Ages 10-14
c) Ages  15-17

Our good Baronne Alianor has declared the following A&S  Baronial Champions 
will be chosen:

Baronial  Baker

Any questions about the champions should be directed to Her  Excellency. 
Please make her aware of your intention to compete for a  championship.

Adult, Non-Member:     $8.00 Day-Trip  $5.00 Feast      $0.00 Camping
Child (6-17):  $3.00 Day-Trip  $5.00 Feast     $0.00 Camping
Child (0-5):   $0.00 Day-Trip  $5.00 Feast     $0.00  Camping

Cost Notes:  Gate fee is the same for Day trip or Camping.  Adult members pay 
$5 for the event until the pre-reg date August 28. Gate fee  from Aug 29 on 
is $7 for Adult Members, $10 Adult Non-Members. Children's fees  do not change.

Site:  Elchenburg Castle/Triplette Farm, 2239 Center  Road, Booneville, NC  
27011, Yadkin County The site is WET, with room for  both period and modern 
tenting (There are no cabins on site but there are hot  showers and real 
flushies) Site opens at 5pm on Friday and closes at 12pm on  Sunday.  Pets are 
allowed, on leash.  If field space will be needed,  please email the autocrat with 
your information.

Site Restrictions:  Animals must be leashed or otherwise restrained. 

Feast  Information:  Feast is only $5 and will be prepared by Lady Brianna 
and  Lord Talorgan. Space will only be sold in advance.  There will be no seats  
for feast available at the door except for cancellations which will go to 
those  on a waiting list.  If you would like to be notified when your reservation 
 has been received, please include your email address and make note of your  
request with your reservations.

Merchanting Information:  Merchants  are Welcomed with open arms. There is no 
merchant fee but please contact the  Autocrat if possible before the event so

Directions:  From the south: Take your best route to I-77 North. Take exit 82 
and turn  right at the end of the exit ramp. *Proceed less than a mile and 
turn right onto  Messick Rd. Proceed to the end of Messick Rd, and turn left on 
Center Road.  Approx 8 miles later is a Pure gas station on the left. 1.2 
miles past that, is  Mitchell Chapel United Methodist Church. The Castle Lane 
(Willow Springs Lane)  is less then 2/10 of a mile further on the right. Signs 
will be  posted.

>From the EAST via Hwy 421: Travel to exit 259 Reavis Rd. Turn  left onto 
Reavis Rd. Travel .8  miles to stop sign. Turn right. Travel .5  mile and turn 
left onto Center Rd.  Travel 3 miles and turn left onto  Willow Spring Ln.
