Since there where many emails about directions recently:

More directions have been added to the official Assessment webpage:

For quick reference here they are:

General Directions: Find your way to I-81. Take exit 143 to I-581. Take the
VA-24/ELM AVE exit-EXIT 6. Turn SLIGHT LEFT to take the ramp toward VINTON.
Turn LEFT onto VA-24 E / ELM AVE SE. Continue to follow VA-24 E. Turn RIGHT
onto VA-24 E / E WASHINGTON AVE. Continue to follow VA-24 E. This is
Stewartsville Rd. Look for the signs. 

>From the NorthEast: Best way to Rt. 460 West (either from Rt. 360 or 29
South from 64).  Follow Rt. 460 West into Bedford, VA.  Take Rt. 122 S
(D-Day Memorial exit).  ~8 miles on Rt. 122 South. At the first stoplight,
turn right onto Rt. 24 West.  ~9 miles.  Site is on the Left (Look for the
sign) 

>From the South: Best way to Rt. 220 into Roanoke.  Take Exit 6 (VA-24/Elm
Ave).  Turn right towards VINTON. Follow through Vinton.  Keep LEFT at the
"Y" (CVS Pharmacy after the Kroger). At end, Turn RIGHT onto VA-24 E / E
WASHINGTON AVE. Continue to follow VA-24 E. This is Stewartsville Rd. Look
for the signs.
