Greetings,
JT (site administrator) is having server issues...
they started late Friday, and have been ongoing. I
believe the problems are being addressed, and the site
will be back up as soon as all the issues with the
server are taken care of.
The only part of the site currently down, are the
forums (unfortunately the most popular part of the
site) as they are run from an in-house server in JT's
home.
The rest of the site ( http://www.armourarchive.org/ )
is still available as it is outsourced to a commercial
web hosting service. We had to get a seperate server
for the forums, as it put two "unlimited bandwith"
hosting services out of business due to excessive use
from the archive...
JT has a day job, so these fixes can take a while, but
he has never taken longer than two weeks to get the
forums back up and running... and if there is a major
f-up, they are frequently saved to a seperate back-up
drive, so not much info should be lost in the process.
The good news, is that there are no known physical
withrawl symptoms from achive deprevation... we
should all live through this.
