Looking at the Atlantian OP, Dun Carriag is older then Steirbach. And
according to Dun Carraig's awards page has held November events since 1993.
The group that has the other available weekend in November has also had an
event in November starting back in the early 90's, it is now called "Day at
the Races" but if memory serves it used to be called "The Little event with
the Big Feast" or something like that.
Maybe it is Holiday Faire that butted in and took the date from the
"traditional" events in November in the first place???
