I think the theoretical connection (from what I recall from the last
goaround) is that these regulations *COULD* have a significant impact on
those SCA folks who study cheesemaking or animal husbandry, potentially to
the extent of making it impossible for them to practice their chosen craft.

It did seem to raise a sufficiently significant issue to merit a looksie by
a legally minded sort, and I hear rumors the BoD has such...I wonder if it's
been referred to them.

Would those of us on the Merry Rose be able to do diddly about it?  Probably
not.
