All this about Atlantian expats reigning in other lands - there are and there have been many - puts me in mind of a speech from Shakespeare's "Richard II." A paraphrase follows.

Your servant aye,
Donal Mac Ruiseart.

This royal throne of kings, this scepter'd land,
This earth of majesty, this seat of Mars,
This other Eden, demi-paradise,
This blessed plot, this earth, this realm, Atlantia!
This nurse, this teeming womb of royal kings
Fear'd by their breed and famous by their birth,
Renowned for their deeds as far from home,
For noble service and true chivalry,
This land of such dear souls, this dear dear land,
Dear for her reputation through the world!
