For those of us with an interest in all things Mongol:
MONGOLIA: TRADITIONS REBORN -- Opens Friday. Lecture Friday at 7:30
p.m. Mongolian Cultural Festival Saturday, noon-4 p.m. Through May 14.
Antique and contemporary costumes, masks, figures and photographs
illustrate Mongolia's cultural renaissance. On Friday photographer
Gordon Wiltsie gives an illustrated lecture, "In the Footsteps of
Genghis Khan." The cultural festival on Saturday features Tsam dancers,
throat singers, a contortionist, a show of traditional and contemporary
fashions and a documentary film. National Geographic Society, Explorers
