[MR] that whole "made of sugar" comment

Ymir was a wonderful event and of course was yet again
cold and rainy.   Congratulations to well deserved
recognized people!! The volume of people that chose to
stay in spite of the weather speaks to the popularity
of the event.

I don't however think that we have a right to ridicule
our friends who choose to leave a bad weather event by
calling them "made of sugar" every time we get a
chance.  Even as a joke the comment gets old very
quickly.

It is a compliment to one's strength to be able to
stay in spite of the weather.  Our strength does not
give us the right to ridicule those who chose to leave
early.  I stayed last year and ended up with such a
bad sore throat that I disappointed people at work
Monday who were expecting to be trained on a new
database I'd just written.

Would you think about that the next time you decide to
use jokes or other comments about those who don't have
the same priorities you do?
