   Greetings unto the Tavern,
  
 Ice Castles is less than two weeks away.  As of yesterday I have 19 in hand pre-registrations and promises of pre-registrations for 1/3 of our breakeven point, though that is now starting to change (thanks for the help!).  This is making feast planning very difficult and we may have to shrink the number of people we are feeding lest we take a complete financial bath on the event.  I would prefer not to.
 
  
 If you are planning on coming to Ice Castles could you please let me know in an email as soon as possible and forward this to any and all local lists that might be interested.   Mailing in your pre-registration money or  emailing me that you are coming and then catching me at Ymir would be good too.
 
 Some Things to Note:
 1.  To clear up any Acorn confusion.  The Feast Price includes the site fee.  So an adult member would pay $13 for the entire day and feast.
 2.  The day of the event prices do go up.  Pre-registration is a good thing.
 3.  I will be at Ymir and equipped to take pre-registrations then.  (I will be MITing the heavy list.  After the fighting I will be putting on a yellow cassock with a black diamond on it and will be glad to talk to you about pre-registration.)
 4.  The lost and found from Assessment will be making an appearance at Ice Castles.  If you lost something you can claim it then.
 5.  There is a Post Revel site nearby and a block of 20 hotel rooms reserved at that hotel. 
 6.  Checks should be made out to Barony of Black Diamond, SCA Inc.
 7.  Registrations should be sent to:
