As promised, here is the menu for the mezze table (Dayboard) and the feast.
Baroness Mary Isabel (Molly)
Mezze Table:
Zaitun Mubakhkhar (Smoked Olives): Green olives smoked and marinated in sesame oil with garlic, walnuts, sesame seeds and thyme.
Hummus Kasa (Chickpea/Tahini/Pistachio Dip): A traditional Middle Eastern spread seasoned with lemons, coriander, garlic, parsley, mint, pepper, cinnamon, caraway, thyme.
Sals Abyad (Spiced Walnut Sesame Spread): Walnut spread made with walnuts, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, cinnamon, mustard powder.
Stuffed Eggs (from the Anonymous Andalusian Cookbook): Boiled eggs stuffed with their yolks mixed with cilantro, onion juice, coriander, sesame oil,
onion juice, pepper.
Badhin (Cakes with Pistachios): Cakes made of flour, sesame oil, pistachios, sugar and rosewater.
Barad (Fried Pastry): Yeast pastry fried in sesame oil and coated with a honey-rosewater mixture.
Lauzinaj (Stuffed Pastry): Pastry stuffed with an almond - sugar mixture and fried in sesame oil.
Rutab Murabba (Stuffed Dates): Dates stuffed with almonds, dipped in honey and rolled in fine sugar mixed with spices.

Feast
Badhinjan Buran (Princess Buran's Eggplant): Eggplant pureed with yoghurt and spices (cinnamon, coriander, cumin, garnished with fresh mint and coriander).
Isfanakh Mutajjan (Fried Spinach): Spinach fried with sesame oil, cumin, coriander, cinnamon and garlic.
Jazr (Fried Vinegared Carrots): Carrots lightly fried in sesame oil, then marinated in heated vinegar, garlic and caraway seeds.
Minted Cucumber Fresh Pickle: Cucumbers marinated in vinegar and fresh mint.
Marwaziyya (Lamb Stew, named for the Central Asian city of Merv): Lamb stewed with Chinese dates (jujube), prunes, raisins and onions, seasoned with
saffron, pepper, mace, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and cardamom.
Couscous
Thumiyya (Chicken with Garlic, Lavender and Spices): Chicken sautéed in garlic and olive oil, then finished with cinnamon, cloves, saffron, garlic, ginger
lavender, and almonds.
