I'd like to point out a personal observation.

If I would be springing extra dough on a plate it better be spiff. Personally I feel that the best looking graphic on a potential plate is the full kingdom arms, a full heraldic achivement.

When you purchase kingdom stickers, they are frequently the kingdom arms.  When you purchase tee-shirts and other such products from European countries, they typically have the full heraldry of the country in question.  We are talking about putting something on our cars, I do not think anyone in the SCA would mistake a state license plate with a full heraldry of a kingdom as being the "Royal Carrige"
(or at least I hope they wouldn't)

Point being, the car isn't period, nor is the plate; lets realize the division between period practice, and pride in our modern hobby.
