I just learned that Their Highnesses will not likely see this question on this list, as His Highness doesn't have e-mail and Her Highness only has sporadic access.
I will make up a hard copy of the letter and send it to Their Highnesses.
Your servant aye,
Donal

I have not yet received my copy of the Acorn,
and I would be very interested in knowing if
the prohibition on thrusting has been expanded
from the previous Crown Tournament's rules
prohibiting "single handed weapon face thrusts"
to include not only face thrusts from any weapon,
but a thrust to any valid target area.
In my opinion, a total prohibition of thrusting
would hamper even mid-period combat techniques.
It has been my lady's and my intention to petition
to enter this spring's tournament, so a clarification
on this would be most appreciated.
Sincerely,
