Greeting, fellow Atlantians.

Back in the dim dark past, spears were considered pole-arms and subject to the same regulations, but at some point in history, they became a separate category with their own rules, allowed to be longer than pole-arms and allowed initially to have wooden and later fiberglass shafts.

I think the re-classifying took place sometime around AS XV, but I have no firm way of knowing. Is there someone with a better chronological memory who can educate me as to just when spears became a separate category of weapon?

Your servant aye
Donal Mac Ruiseart
