the permanent lands at Gulf Wars. If so, where do we get the particulars?
Dear Lady Alexandra,

No Proposal has been made for a gate competition at this time. I have
asked Lord Griffith to look into some plans based on a $500-$700 budget. I
thought at least that would give us a starting point. To see what kind of gate
that type of budget will get us, or if we need to make adjustments. He is the
good gentle, that erected the temporary Atlantian gate at the Pennsic War a few
years ago. I don't know how many people saw the gate at that time but I was
very impressed.

I do and will need help with fundraising/planning of this project. I
have a couple of ideas that might work towards filling the gate coffers, but have
very little experience in the actual doing process. Eventually, physical
help putting up the gate will also be needed. If anyone feels they want to help
out on this project please send me an e-mail and I will include them in the
current correspondence (and/or future message board?). I think it is fairly
unrealistic that a "proper" permanent Atlantian gate can or will be constructed
before Gulf War XVI (2007). But would like to see something up and ready for
Gulf War XVII (2008), at least that is my current goal, with Our Majesties
consent of course.

I want to thank you Lady Alexandra, for posting your questions to the Merry
Rose. I was trying to figure out how to ask for help, this was a perfect
opportunity to answer your questions as well as letting the populous of Atlantia
know what is going on. So if you, or anyone on the list, wants to get involved
with this project, I for one would welcome the help.

YIS,
Lord Pagan Grendel
Atlantian Land Agent Gulf War XVI
