Greetings,

I'm starting to plan my fight/event calendar for 2007, and have come up
short for information on Gulf Wars. I wondered if anyone could tell me
anything
regarding flights and hotels for/near Gulf Wars? Is there an airport near
the
site, or will I need to rent a van and transport equipment several hours to
the
site.

I was and still am under the ussumption that I will again be acting as the
Atlantian Land Agent for Gulf War XVI March 11-18. On that note,
registration
ends Jan 31st. You can make online reservations with a credit card. See the

posted website for more information. The closest airport would have to be
out
of New Orleans, that is about 2 hours from site. There is no mass transit
to
the site so need to either arrange for pickup or rent a car/van. Nearest
hotels are about an hour away in either direction on I-59. The site will
accept
deliveries, so you could always ship some of your stuff down. Again that
information can be found online via the event web page. Please feel free to
contact
me at Bluestone7 at aol.com if you have any other questions or need help with
making arrangements.

That all being said I can I can only tell people that Gulf War is a great
event and if you can make it I am sure you will have a memorable time.
Atlantia
will have permanent land (the same land we have been camping on for the last

two years) and plans are in the works to construct a gate. More then likely
this will not be happening this year, however I would like to have a meeting

sometime during this coming event to discuss options and such with those
that are
there and wish to be part of future plans.

YIS,
Pagan Grendel
