>From Afshin:

Greetings,
After looking at the weather channel and national
weather service looks like about 3 or so inches of
rain in Reidsville, NC between now and Saturday. After
consulting with the rest of cavalry marshalls and
horse owners I have decided that it is not safe to
bring horses to Coronation. Hauling horses in the
storm will stress the animals causing them to be
nervous and skidish. That with a combonation of wet
ground is the formula for an accident that can cause
serious injuries to horse and riders. Sorry for the
bad news so late in the game, but it is the saftey of
all people involved that concerns me, and it is better
to be safe than sorry.
In service,
Afshin Darius

There is nothing more difficult to take in hand, more perilous to conduct,
or more uncertain in its success, than to take the lead in the introduction
of a new order of things.
