All are welcome to come to the Barony of Storvik's Post-Pennsic Revel this Saturday, August 26! Come one, come all, whether or not you attended Pennsic War 35. This is the perfect time to catch up with friends whom you might not have seen during War or who were unable to make the long journey to Aethelmearc this year.

This is a DESSERT Revel! Both period and non-period desserts are welcome. Bring a dessert to feed about 8 people and receive $1 off the site fee ($8 for adults). The period desserts will be served to the populace after judging. Rumor has it that a popular treat or two from past Storvik feasts will again make an appearance. :-)

This Revel is about Fun and GAMES! Bring your chess and cribbage sets, dominoes and dice. Bring your war contusions for the Best Pennsic Bruise contest!

There will be DANCING after the Baron and Baroness hold court!

There will be a table for an A&S DISPLAY of your Pennsic-related projects, too!

Site is open from 4 to 11 p.m. Site restriction: No smoking inside the building or on the wooden deck outside the building. If you wish to sit outside and chat while you smoke, you may bring an outdoor chair (but there are plenty of indoor chairs).

Site: Paint Branch Unitarian Universalist Church, 3215 Powder Mill Road, Adelphi, MD 20783.

Directions:

>From I-95 (good for people coming from the North and East): Take Exit 29B West on Powder Mill Road (MD 212), toward "Calverton." Proceed on Powder Mill for one-and-a-half miles through four traffic lights (the last of which is at Cherry Hill Road). As you begin to go downhill, watch for the white church sign on the left, immediately after which is the driveway. NOTE: If you go to New Hampshire Avenue, you have driven too far.

>From the Capital Beltway (I-495) (good for people coming from the South and West): Take Exit 28A North on New Hampshire Avenue. Stay in the right lane, and just past the shopping center turn right onto Powder Mill Road (at the light). Go one mile, bearing left at the next traffic light and proceed down and then up hill. Look for the white church sign on the right and turn into the parking lot immediately in front of the sign. NOTE: If you hit the big intersection of Powder Mill Road and Cherry Hill Road, you've gone too far.

>From Washington, DC: Take Riggs Road north until it turns into Powder Mill Road. Go one mile more and look for the white church sign on the right. Turn into the parking lot immediately in front of the sign. NOTE: If you hit the big intersection of Powder Mill Road and Cherry Hill Road, you've gone too far.
