[MR] Need opinions about Panther Primitives models

Amie,
I actually have both of those tents in my camp. My wife happens to be a panther dealer and just set our entire camp up with a slew of new tents so we got to see lots of models at once.
The 16x16 fit myself and my lady quite well with a king size bed (yes Pennsic decadence) however the 12x12 another in my household had only held him. I know by looking at both the interiors that myself and my wife never would have fit in the smaller comfortably. Yeah it would have worked (with a smaller bed of course) but it would have been VERY tight especially with armor and coolers. We found also that the 16 footer was much cooler inside during the day than the 12 footer due to the higher ceiling and extra air space.
The 12x12 we called the Medieval EZ-up because one person set it up in under 10 minutes. The 16x16 takes at least 2 people but still went up easilly in under 30 minutes including the prep of laying out tarps and canvas. The optional canopy makes ALL the difference on the Serenghetti at war if placed facing east so that the morning sun is actually blocked as it rises and doesn't heat up the lower face of the tent.
Hope that helps a bit.
Sincerely,
Dustyn McGroyne
