[MR] Unevent and 12th Night question

and they aren't the only kingdom who has these issues...

With specific reference to Unevent, the biggest challenge is finding a 
site affordable enough that still meets requirements. Unevent does not 
have a site fee, and it would be utterly impractical to charge one; but 
unlike University, there is no strong culture of making donations to 
mitigate the cost, nor is there any fund for making up shortfalls. I've 
been somewhat involved with an Unevent bid not too long ago, and a big 
question that had to be asked was "Is the group willing to eat the entire 
cost of the site in order to have Unevent close by?"... because the 
hosting group is likely to end up eating most, if not all, of the costs; 
or at least that is the perception, and if it's inaccurate, *please* 
enlighten us all because the kingdom could seriously use more event bids!
