I just got back from Land Grab. Gas prices on the Turnpike were $3.05, and
$2.99 in Cranberry.

Subject: [MR] Gas prices in WV on the way to Pennsic
Just a word of warning for those traveling the West Virginia route to
Pennsic this year...
I spoke with my husband (Callistus Gill) who did the drive on Friday.
He stated that gas on I-74/I-77 at the first exit after the WV/VA
border was $3.07 a gallon. From there on, it was $3.15 a gallon (if
not more) until you got on I-79 and drive up the road a bit.
You can save almost $.07 a gallon if you make sure not fill up at the
border and not
again until you are on I-79.
Also, there is construction around Pittsburg on I-79 with Jersey Walls
and such, but no major slow downs.
I hope this is of help to at least a few people as you make your way to war.
