*Hawkwood's Second Annual Baronial Birthday*
May 19 - 21, 2006
Arden,NC

This is the second birthday celebration for the Barony of Hawkwood. the 
theme for this event is "Knightly Virtues".

Martial Activities: There will be heavy fighting, archery and a 
Tournament of the Courtier wherein all available Companions of the Order 
of the White Scarf of Atlantia shall stand and hold the field against 
all comers, without let or hindrance.

Arts & Sciences Activities: Period weaving, period metal work, Cordials 
and Brewing, period scrolls that will be donated to the Barony for use 
after the judging. Bardic contest to determine the Baronial Bardic 
Champion, all bards welcome. All entries should have been made within 
the last 6 months.

Cost Notes:
The camping fees are per night, so when reserving specify which night or 
two nights. Non-member daytrip fee includes the $3 surcharge. Should a 
non-member wish to camp the $3 surcharge will be added to total camping 
fee. If you are paying the camping fee for overnight stay you do not pay 
the daytrip fee.

A wonderful Summer feast will be prepared by Lady Gisella du Coeur. 
Limited to 100 seats.

Other Information:
If you or your group plans on setting up a pavilion on the field, please 
let the reservationist know the size of the pavillion (do not worry 
about the ropes and stakes, we leave room for those). Please notify us 
as soon as possible so that we may set up the field.

Directions:
Find your best route to I26, exit 44, Airport exit. Coming from the 
north turn left at the ramp onto Airport Rd., from the south turn right 
at ramp onto Airport Rd. Take Airport Rd. until it junctions with 
Hendersonville Rd., turn right. The entry to Lutheridge is less than a 
quarter of a mile on the right on Hendersonville Rd. Follow the SCA 
signs and watch for parking assistance.
