[MR] Spring Revel activities this Saturday

Greetings Lords and Ladies who wish to have fun this weekend, 

As spring comes 'round our fair land we turn our thoughts towards the  
pleasures that we most delight in - rounds of fighting, rounds of rapier. rounds  of 
Archery. and a few rounds of thrown weapons.. Walking 'round the merchants'  
stalls, sitting 'round a feast table, dancing 'round the hall, and many more  
activities that we get 'round to in the spring time. So we invite you to come  
round to the fair lands of Fluvanna where the Canton of Caer Gelynniog will 
once  again get 'round to hosting Spring  Revel. 
It seems the round drops are falling from the skies this weekend, but  that 
will not dampen our fun ‘round here. Come join us in the  hall for the many 
inside activities, like making Pysanka eggs (at 1pm),  games, dancing, singing, 
shopping, an A&S display of anything round, and  indoor fighting… yes, we have 
a gym to  use for fighting inside.  Weather permitting, there will be rapier,  
archery, thrown weapons, and a game of Cambok will be played around midday. 
Come watch or play. Feast is prepared to  round out your day’s enjoyment.

Site:
The site is  Fluvanna Middle School in Palmyra, Virginia 
Site opens at 9:00 AM and closes  at 10:30 PM. 
**Because we are on school property, the site is dry with no  live steel 
allowed.

Directions:
>From the North and  South: we are located in between I-95 and I-81 on I-64. 
Make your way to the  intersection of whichever interstate is closest to you 
(either 95 or 81  depending on which side of  Virginia you are on) and I-64.  
Then follow the directions from East/West.
>From the South (alternate):  From I-95 South of Richmond take Chippenham Pkwy 
North to Rte 6 east, taking a  left turn at the first Burger King you see. 
Stay on this road until you come to  the intersection of Rts 6 and 15 at Dixie, 
then go north  on Route 15 for about 3 miles.  Fluvanna Middle  School is on 
your right.
>From the East or  West: Take I-64 to exit 136 (Zion Crossroads/Route 15), 
located east of  Charlottesville. Go south on Route  15. Travel about 8 miles, 
passing through  Palmyra village, and continue about  4 more miles south on 15. 
Fluvanna  Middle School will be on your  left.
>From Scottsville area: Follow Rt 6 east. Turn left on to Route  649 (Central 
Plains Road).  Go about 3 miles. At the stop sign turn right. At the next stop 
sign, turn right  on Rt. 15, go about 2 miles to  Fluvanna Middle  School on 
left.
