[MR] Board Meeting in Richmond

Greetings,

Ever heard someone espouse an opinion of the SCA Board of Directors?  If you have been in the SCA more than a month, I bet you have.  As the governing body of our Corporation, the Board plays an important part in who we are and what we do.  (Note the quarterly letter found here  http://www.sca.org/docs/chairman20061Q.pdf )

Next weekend is a rare opportunity to meet these individuals as well as many of the Corporate Officers and see first hand the issues they handle.  The Board will be meeting in Richmond, Virginia on next Saturday, April 22, beginning about 0900.  Site information is below.

In addition, the Barony of Caer Mear has generously agreed to host a social that evening at the hotel so that you can meet the Board members and Corporate Officers in an informal setting.

Please avail yourself of this opportunity to see a different but extremely important aspect of the SCA.  I look forward to seeing you there.
