[MR] call for help

Greetings,
  
  My name is Ceannric MacEoghn, man-at-arms to Kallock von Zweckle of  House Wulfshaven of the Barony of Bright Hills in Atlantia, and I am  asking a favor of anyone who reads this and feels so inclined. At last  Hundred Minute War, I was on the field with other fighters of my  household when I was struck with excessive force in the grille of my  helm by a 12' spear wielded by Darius, king of the East. It was enough  to make me see stars, and anyone who knows me knows I am no  lightweight. In addition to this blow, btw, there was at least one  other incidence of excessive force by his majesty on the field that  day, so I was not alone. I confronted Darius in a fit of pique and  suggested that perhaps next time he might want to hit me a bit harder,  as he hadn't actually succeeded in breaking my neck. That is just the  sort of person I am, and I make no apologies for it. After the battle,  he approached me, ostensibly to 'discuss' the matter, telling me that  while he had no
 issue with my calling an excessive shot, he did have a  problem with my attitude. I replied that I just call it like I see it.  This was obviously not the contrite answer he was expecting, as he then  walked away grumbling. Well, to each his own, and I thought that was  the end of it. Foolish me.
  
  3 months later I received a notice from the Earl Marshal of the East  informing me that my fighter card had been suspended until November  2006, in both the East and Atlantia, for 'using my spear as a polearm'.  It is worth mentioning that I was never warned about doing so at  Hundred Minute that day, the plain and simple reason being because I  never did any such thing. I am qualified with every heavy weapons form,  and had I wanted a polearm, I would have taken one out on the field  (and did later that same hour). It was patently obvious to me that this  was nothing more than a fabrication to punish me, a mere grunt fighter,  for having had the audacity to actually tell off a king when he was  unsafe, since attitude alone would be insufficient grounds for  suspension. 
  
  I have since been in contact with not only both the Earl Marshals of  the East and Atlantia, but also both the Society Marshal and the Board  of Directors. Not surprisingly, the latter two decided upon a hands-off  approach, preferring matters to be settled on a local kingdom level.  Unfortunately (but predictably), the EM's are taking the position that  it's my word against a king's, and therefore they will support the  crown's contention. So I'm stuck. Were this a truthful allegation  against me, I would just as soon suck it up and wait out the suspension  period, but it is a blatant lie and abuse of power, and I will not  stand for it. Therefore I am asking anyone who feels strongly about  this sort of thing, especially those who know me or has seen me fight,  to please write the Earl Marshals of East and Atlantia and make an  appeal for leniency on my behalf (and please CC me at  ceannric at yahoo.com so that I may keep track of the progress). I would  greatly appreciate
