I agree, I'm certain that they would. But SCA and American Civil War reenactment
are two very different animals. What can fly in the SCA doesn't usually, and
shouldn't, fly in a reenactment organization. I think that was the point of the
original poster - that the SCA has different goals than ACW. Neither is better
or worse than the other, they are simply *different*.
