Does the most Humble AshaHito send greetings and a warning

      I have discovered the true intent of the Norman Barbarian's plans. It
seems that YouthinAsia has nothing to do with benefiting the children of my
homeland but is instead a deceptive plan of population control against the
resident visitors of these fair lands.

      Woe these many months I have tried to negotiate a peaceful settlement
of our on going disputes.  I have written many letters, only to find that
our Norman Graces only look at the pretty pictures and are indeed
illiterate! I have made pilgrimages to their very homes, risking my life, to
try to find some way to save face. Only to be put to menial tasks and
ignored. I realize that my life has little value other than to my wives and
children, and a few select business associates, but I risk it not lightly.
This is indeed a cause worth fighting for. The prior Baron of these lands
understood the importance of the merchants and visitors to the prosperity of
his lands, While the current baron and baroness seem to think we are all
part of the same troupe of traveling entertainers!

      I am not even close to unreasonable. I asked for 2 goats a cask of
mead and a woman. I knew not to ask for a maiden in these lands. I have
since reduced the pittance asked as a mere representation and token of our
worth, and rescinded the request for a woman. After observing their women I
find that I am no longer a young man who has the time to train a proper
female and not disrupt my peaceful home life. I have found no women in this
land that does not go about barefaced and who does not speak openly to men
not of her family. I would not have these unseemly influences corrupting the
proper women of my household!

      After all the shame and denigration, and abuse I must do the only
thing left to me. Thus I open my warehouses, my food stocks, my cellars and
my purse. I call upon those peoples of education, piety, decency and
civilization to aid me slightly in teaching the barbarous Normans the true
value of humanity and humility. I will pay in valued coins, jewelry, and
artifacts for all those that compete for the Mongols at "A Cunning Plan"
October 15th at the Powhatan Fairground, Virginia. All civilized people are
begged to help. No need to send the core of your peoples, second sons,
retainers, eunuchs and servants are enough against these inbreed Normans.
All who appear for the cause of Light and right shall share in the spoils
and my minor wealth. Be you Mongol, Chin, Ainu, Nippon, Saracen, Berber,
Mamluk, Turk, Rus, educated Viking or Moor; rise up in defiance of the daily
slights and slanders put upon you. The hills shall shake unto their roots
with the pounding hooves of our coming. The valleys shall run red with
Norman blood, or mayhaps yellow if my guess is true! We shall contest them
in all areas of endeavor, in all sports, games and contest and prove our
might, and my champions shall be greatly rewarded.

      All who know of me, even by second and third hand Know as sure as the
sun and all good things come from the east, know I will debase myself
endlessly to avoid even the hint of conflict. But these drunken, barbarian,
uneducated, uncultured Normans that style themselves as Normans, our
baronage and their supporters have gone too far this time. CRY HAVOCK! For
the rabid will be cured not! We shall hold these lands for the nobility of
the khan, where true scholars, merchants and holy persons are safe to live
and thrive! Peace be unto you all unless you're a Norman Baron(ess)!

Come one and all to a most exciting war between the Barony of Caer Mear and
the resident Mongols. This war will be won by war points earned in several
different ways. 

The winner of the Heavy fighting,

The winner of the Rapier fighting,

The winner of Thrown weapons,

The winner of the Archery contest,

Any one displaying something at A&S (the display to be anything that can be
used as tribute) 

All players of the games tourney and one extra point for the winner,

All that bring a dish for the pot luck.

There will also be contests between the Baron and Baroness of our fair
Barony and the leader of the Mongol horde.

 So no matter what you are interested in there will be a way for you to help
your side win the very friendly and for fun war.

that will feed 8 people - it can be home made, or store bought, period, or
modern. Please include an ingredient list as some have allergies.

Powhatan, VA 23139). Site Restrictions: Hours are from 9am to 10pm. No pets.
Alcohol is permitted.

The site is on the left on Route 60 about one mile east of the Route 22 and
Route 60 intersection. 

>From the North: I-95 South to Chippenham Parkway (Route 150) then east on
Route 60 to Powhatan. The fairgrounds are on your right abut 5 miles past
Flatrock Shopping Center and the MacDonald's.

>From the East: I-64 West to I-95 South to Chippenham (per North above) 

>From the West: I-64 East to route 522 South to Route 60 East. Route 60 to
the fairgrounds, about one mile on the left.
