For Love & Honor III

The days of war are behind us and the time of reveling in love and honor has come again. Come one, come all and join the Shire of Border Vale Keep at For Love & Honor III! We have planned a day focused on martial activities and those who support them. There will also be a tea held on the field for all gentles that support our martial fighters.

Martial Activities:  The site allows for both heavy and rapier activities. The tourneys shall be standard double elimination tourneys.

To participate, a fighter must have a token (provided by the Shire) bestowed to them. There will also be a special gift for the most courteous fighter (both heavy and rapier). Beads will be given to non-fighters to give to the gentle they feel is most courteous. The fighter with the most tokens (both rapier and heavy) will be recognized at feast.

 Arts & Sciences Activities:  We will be holding a token competition by popular vote. The medium is your choice. Documentation is encouraged but not required. Please note that you are welcome to bring other items for display if you so wish (and it is encouraged!).

Site Restrictions:  ABSOLUTELY NO ALCOHOL, NO FIREARMS, NO ANIMALS smoking permitted in designated area only and the pool is off limits.

Feast Information:  A sumptuous feast will be prepared by Count Valharic Aurelius. Please contact the autocrat with any dietary concerns. Please note that feast is limited to 75 gentles.

 

Merchanting Information:  Merchants are welcomed; please contact the reservationist for further details.

Other Information:  

 The On Site accommodations are two bunk-style, dorm rooms. Please reserve early as bed space is extremely limited.

Take your best route to Augusta, GA via I-20. 

>From I-20 (this is from the west and east directions of I-20):

Merge onto BOBBY JONES EXPY/I-520 E/GA-415 E via EXIT 196A.

Take the GA-56/OLD SAVANNAH RD exit- EXIT 9.

Turn RIGHT onto GA-56/MIKE PADGETT HWY.

Turn RIGHT onto WAYNESBORO RD/OLD WAYNESBORO RD.

Turn LEFT onto 4 H CLUB RD.

End at 1820 4h Club Rd
