The best material for heddles is linen rug warp. It comes in a fairly
light weight, which is much heavier than the linen thread and will stand
up to a lot of abuse. There is also a heavy weight, which will handle
anything you can throw at it for years to come.

What's the best material to make heddles out of? The thread I've been using
(cotton) keeps stretching by the time I get 2/3 through a piece. This is on
a small 5 foot loom I bought at Pennsic.
