"To Our noble populace does Janos & Rachel send tidings

    In just a couple weeks the Barony of Highland Foorde will stand up to
the incursions of the Kingdom of Aethelmearc at the 10th Annual Siege of
Glengary.  They have called upon Us as their due for help against these
foes.  Although we have modern commitments and can not attend, we ask that
those of you who are looking for a good fight, to saddles your steeds, gird
yourselves with steel and leather, and take up arms against this attack.

    We ask that you don't let Our fair Barony of Highland Foorde be
overridden by this army of Aethelmearce.  Besides, it will surely be a good
warm-up for Kingdom Crusades which is the next weekend!

For those who have never been to Siege of Glengary it is quite a nice event.  Baroness Briana and I have been going off and on since we joined the society.  Last year they ran a great heavy fighting event with bridges and gates and things.  I also heard the archery was lots of fun.  Last year while vastly outnumbered we showed the Heart of Atlantia.  This year if the fighters show up in numbers we can show them the might of Atlantia as well.
