[MR] Martial Acitivities at Isenfir's 30th Anniversary

Greetings,

I wished to inform you of the Martial Activities to be
held at Isenfir's 30th Anniversary and Games Tourney
on Oct. 22, 2005.

Heavy fighting:
First, we'll start the day with a Warlord Tournament.
Now, there are more than a few things called Warlord
tourneys, but by this we mean "the Warlord Tourney as
invented by Isenfir's only home-grown knight, Sir
Torvald. Its format pits the fighters in one-on-one
fights in the first round, with the winner of each of
those fights becoming the team captain of a two-on-two
fight in the second round, and so on until only two
teams remain. The captain of the winning team earns  
the title of "Warlord of the Day."

Following the Warlord Tourney, The Past, Present and
Future Hosts of Isenfir will hold the field against
all challenges as time and energy allow. What host is
that, you ask? We expect no small numbers:

Hagan von Hesse
Others TBA 

At the conclusion of this second phase of the day's
fighting, the Isenfir Host shall award challengers as
they see fit.

Rapier Fighting:
We are planning a rapier tournament in the form of a
Bedford Tourney, with much fighting and a fair bit of
wagering on the contestants. Come forth, wager your
metal, and try your mettle. 

Target archery: A target archery competition will be
held. Format TBD.

Thrown Weapons: A thrown weapons competition will be
held. Format TBD.
