Greetings Lady Anne,

I'm currently waiting for information on how the SCA organizers want stuff 
delivered for the hurricane victims. There is a good team of people who 
have done this before with previous disasters organizing and have promised 
more information by tomorrow.

I will happily share with this list when more information is made available 
that we, as a group not specifically involved can do to help.

The latest information is that they are looking for giftcards to help 
purchase needed supplies - but this cannot be done with SCA funds, personal 
funds are perfectly acceptable.

My thoughts are that later on, the household goods and SCA supplies will be 
happily accepted then.

Thanks for your offer and I'll do what I can to help organize so it can be 
used.

Does anyone know of any places where I can donate
household items and clothing to go to victems of
Katrina?  I am going through stuff from my Mom
house and there are LOTS of items that are nearly
new and could be used.  Dishes, crock pot, you
name it.  And I would LOVE to give these items to
folks who so desperately need them.  That would
make my Mom happy that she is helping from heaven.

Any information would be appreciated.
