Many thanks to all those who sniffed, fondled, tasted, and otherwise
inspected my Mystery Spice at Cattle Raids yesterday. Unfortunately, the
identity of these seed pods is still a mystery. Everyone agreed that it is
no kind of cardamom. A couple of folks thought it smelled like Fenugreek.
But, I checked, and Fenugreek doesn't make seed pods like this.

Curiouser and curiouser...

Milord, there is one last chance for you, but it may not be an easy solution.

There is a website, _http://www-ang.kfunigraz.ac.at/~katzer/engl/index.html_
(http://www-ang.kfunigraz.ac.at/~katzer/engl/index.html) run by Gernot
Katzer, which is perhaps the definitive page on spices of all kind. Not only does
he give you the application of the spice, but he has large amounts of photos
showing the plant, leaves, berries, etc, of the plant the spice comes from,
as well as where the plant can be found, it's latin name, etc., etc.

This will takes some work on your part to match up photos with spice, but
it's the only solution that comes to mind.

YIS,

Lord Frederich Von Teufel
