Unto the Artisans of Atlantia...
Soon the traveling caravans will make camp for a weekend of merry making, tourneys, and wondrous sites. There will be food, fighting, archery, horses and various artistic competitions for one and all. All will be a delightful feast for the eyes. All this will be taking place from Friday, October 14th thru Sunday October 16th in Marlboro, Maryland.
Of the Arts and Sciences, Competitions are three:

All three cards must be from the same time frame, place, etc. This does not mean copying a specific tarot deck's style -- yours to determine. Documentation of the style is required. Individuals choice of which three of the 22 cards they wish to depict. - 2 PRIZES: Book: The Tarot, History, Symbolism and Divination by Robert M. Place - Best TAROT representation in a specific period style; Calligraphy & Illumination supplies -- Best Art Work/Design

3) General A&S -- Any project that would have been or could have been done by travelers or in caravans. PRIZE: Needlework tools
Brewing is a competition of itself: Cordials as used for medicinal purposes. Prize to be sponsored by Lord Michael von Schonsee.
Scroll competition using traveling/caravan theme sponsored by the Kingdom Scribe, Baroness Julianna Fiorentini.
There will also be an Open Display of A&S projects either completed, or in progress. Let one and all see the wonders of Atlantias artisans.
Some of the ideas for these competitions do not belong to just one member, but to various members of the A&S Community who constantly place ideas for fun and frivolity, while staying within any number of ranges of themes and timeframes...Unto all of you, I say thank you for letting me plunder and borrow some of your ideas. A report will be forthcoming on the wonders of the Atlantian Population as they meet these challenges.

Looking forward to seeing one and all, Unto the Dream we all Share,
