Some of my favorite car trips are to SCA events. I remember it tooks 8 hours
to get to coronation of Robert and Denise from Hampton roads due to the
creative use of detours by the locals, which seemed to just throw you back
into boonies than getting you past the flooded streets and back on the
intended path.
