[MR] Clarification about driving directions to Coronation

Friends,

If someone can email me privately about this, I would
appreciate it.

A friend of mine with homes in both Brevard and
Charlotte suggested I travel to Coronation on a route
different than what is posted on the event flyer. 
They suggested taking I-85 South to Gaffney, and then
taking Route 11 across to Route 276.

Has anyone ever taking this route?
