I am writing a paper for the Iron Rose Academy on commanding troops and what I've leaned over the last year about command. the definition of the column I knew. The actual tactical use was a little vague. Thank you all for replying. I think I have enough information to informativly write the section on Columns and Lines as pertains to field battles. If there is anyone who DOES NOT want me to use there reply in my paper please e-mail me. I have so many replies I was only able to personally e-mail a few individuals. If you WOULD like me to use your reply please e-mail me a positive answer so that I have a documented consent to quote you.
