Subject: Green Hill Park Information

 Mega Practice (or as Angus calls it BASH-A-THAN-O-RAMA) will start about
11am on Sunday the 23rd at Green Hill Park and will last til the fighters
leave the field.I have included directions at the end of this letter. We
will be using the space near where Thursday practices are held. If you are
not familiar with this, take the road into the park and bear right. We will
be next to the first picnic shelter on your right.  All are encouraged to
bring potluck for dinner. We will be eating around 6 as the light begins to
fade. There are no electric outlets (that I have found) but barbeques, a
playground and bathroom facilities are available.   For the potluck, please
bring a dish big enough to feed at least five.  The name divisions are A-H,
please bring a main dish, I-S bring side dishes and T-Z bring desserts. You
can go by SCA or mundane name and more than one dish is welcome.  We will
have access to water, but the more beverag!  es! , the  better. Water
coolers and personal pavilions are encouraged.  Please provide your own
lunch. There will be a demo set-up so feel free to invite any of those who
are interested. Also please bring projects to work on and ideas to share. If
you have any questions, just ask. Hope to see you all for a day of fighting
and social gathering.

>From Interstate 81, take exit 137.  Turn right onto Wildwood Road at end of
ramp.  Go to the traffic signal and turn right onto West Main Street.
Proceed to the third traffic signal at Diuguids Lane and turn left onto
Diuguids Lane.  Cross railroad tracks and Roanoke River.  Entrance to park
will be short distance on right.  Upon entering the park, take the right
fork to go to the shelters.  Shelter I will be on the right, across from the
caboose and playground.
