This Saturday, Oct. 22, the Shire of Isenfir will be
hosting it's 30th Anniversary and Annual Games
Tourney. There will be a number of activities and fun
for everyone. For more information, please visit our

Martial Activities: The champions will receive prizes
worthy of their victories!

    Heavy weapons: The day will begin with a Warlord
Tournament. Now, there are more than a few things
called Warlord tourneys, but by this we mean "the
Warlord Tourney" as invented by Isenfir's only
home-grown knight, Sir Torvald. Its format pits the
fighters in one-on-one fights in the first round, with
the winner of each of those fights becoming the team
captain of a two-on-two fight in the second round, and
so on until only two teams remain. The captain of the
winning team earns the title of "Warlord of the Day."

    Following the Warlord Tourney, The Past, Present
and Future Hosts of Isenfir will hold the field
against all challenges as time and energy allow. At
the conclusion of this second phase of the day's
fighting, the Isenfir Host shall award challengers as
they see fit. The Ladies of Isenfir will present roses
to their favorite fighter and the fighter with the
most roses will be presented a gift from the Ladies.

    Rapier: We are planning a rapier tournament in the
form of a Bedford Tourney, with a fair bit of fighting
and a lot of betting on the contestants. Come forth,
wager your metal, and try your mettle. 

    Thrown Weapons: A thrown weapons competition will
be held. 

    Archery: A target archery competition will also be
held. 

    *In case of rain, heavy fighting and rapier will
be held inside.
