Here begins the report of the court of Janos and Rachel, King and Queen
of Atlantia.
Upon the eighth day of October A.S. XL (2005), court was held in the
Barony of Bright Hills, upon a day when the fine soft weather made it
easier to swim than walk. Several boons were granted and worthies were
recognized by Their Majesties.
The following Awrds were granted by Their Majesties, to wit...
Brienna Llewellyn Lindsay, who was not in attendance, was awarded the
Coral Branch. The scroll for the award was placed in the keeping of
Baron Barre of Bright Hills.
Debora Aurifex Opal
Their Majesties then called the children of Atlantia and the East
Realm, who were in attendance to come forward to recieve tokens and
trinkets of Their affection. One youngling was quite large and sported
a beard but assured Their Majesties in a rich baritone voice that he
was indeed merely sixteen years of age. (My, they grow large in these
northern lands.)
After they children had departed from the Royal Presence. Their
Majesties invited any newcomers to come forward but none were present.
(The rain had apparently washed them all away.)
Maeve Fitzrobert of York was awarded a fine new scroll in recognition
of her membership in the Order of the Opal.
Morag Macfael, who was not in attendance, was awarded the Coral Branch.
Her scroll was entrusted to Baroness Cordelia FitzRobert of York, of
Bright Hills.
Their Majesties then exchanged gifts with the King and Queen of the
East. Their Oriental Majesties presented a basket of handcrafted goods
from the Brewers of Their realm. Brave Janos and Fair Rachel gifted
Their royal cousins with a fine chest and a banner, wrought by artisans
of our good kingdom.
This being done Their Majesties closed Their court.
Long live King Janos and Queen Rachel!
