[MR] Royal court, Highland Foorde Investiture, 24 September AS XL

Greetings unto Your Majesties and the populace of Atlantia from Lady
Thyra Olafsdottir.

On Saturday, September 24, A.S. XL, in the Barony of Highland Foorde,
His Majesty King Janos did hold a court and invest the new baron and
baroness of Highland Foorde. Herein follows the business conducted.

His Majesty heard Baroness Diedre ni Aodhfionn give fealty to the
Crown.  He then allowed her to hold a final baronial court.  Once she
had conducted her business and given awards, she thanked Their
Majesties for the honor of being Baroness, and the populace for their
assistance and support during her tenure, and stepped down from her
position.

His Majesty then called forth Lord Llewellyn gan Barfog and Mistress
Isbella Stere and invested them as the new Baron and Baroness of
Highland Foorde, and heard them swear fealty. At this time he invited
them to join him in his court.

Diedre ni Aodhfionn was then called back in to court, and made a court
baroness.

Next was Lady Adriana di Salaparuta called and made a member of the
Order of the Coral Branch.

His Majesty then called all newcomers to the SCA to appear before him,
and presented them with scrolls.

Alicia of Highland Foorde was given a Hippocampus for her efforts and
work for the barony and kingdom.

Duncan of Highland Foorde was called forth and raised to the ranks of
nobility with an Award of Arms.

His Majesty then gave the new Baron and Baroness leave to hold a short
court and conduct business of the day.  After their court was closed,
His Majesty’s business was resumed.

Giuseppe Antonio Luigi was awarded the Hippocampus.

Lady Anne la Settere was made a member of the Order of the Fountain.

Pan Mieszko Zielenski was called forward and given the Silver Osprey.

Lord Siegfried Sebastian Faust was awarded the Opal.

Lord Ed the Tinker was given the Coral Branch.

Sir Tascius Severian Fabius was called forth and given the Coral
Branch.

There being no further business, the court of His Majesty was closed.
