It is not my wish to add more confusion or to
discourage anyone from going to Unevent, but I do wish
to clarify one thing Lady Maria said: per Kingdom Law
and the Seneschals Policies, no where does it say that
ALL officers are required to attend Unevent. Not to
say they shouldnt go if they are able, but if they
cannot make it, it isnt the end of the world.

The only policy that I could find with a brief and
quick search that speaks to this is:
1.2.3 Every seneschal is expected to attend Unevent.
He/she may send a representative with a written proxy.

Obviously, the Great Officers should be in attendance
but even if they cannot make it, they have deputies
that are able to stand in for them.

As far as I am aware, only their Majesties and the
Kingdom Seneschal are required to be there becuase
Curia must happen.

Since they are the ones that really are required to be
there, if Unevent happens to be a little closer to
them in South Carolina this year, I am okay with that.

If you are a baronial officer who may not be able to
make Unevent, contact your Regional Deputy, see what
options are available. Perhaps someone can go as a
proxy, or if not, ask someone you know to take notes
at the meeting.

Warm regards,
Melisent
