Once again, there was never a 'traditional' spot it
has always been, like all kingdom events, hosted by
whatever group puts in bids. While it was very nice of
Mistress Ceridwen to step up and host the even two
years in a row when there were little or no other
bids, it was never a given that it would be in any
particular place.
Twice isn't a tradition, it's a coincidence! :-)

But, as was said, there is no 'traditional' spot. The
tradition is that groups put in bids. The listing of

Not many, i'd wager. I'd never make a reservation for
a hotel without first finding out where an event is
personally. Over the last year or so, as there have
been a couple of problems with getting our Acorn, the
internet has become invalueable to us in making event
plans, but i'm afriad that in the SCA word of mouth is
always going to travel swifter than any published
medium.
