As for having plenty of charges, I found that Blazons! 2000 uses GIF files with transparent margins for its graphic elements. It changes the three-letter name extension, but not the file format. So, you can add to its library, or even edit its images if you need to. For example, they had a hart springing, but not counter-springing. So, I flipped the image, saved it to a new name, and used it to draw the Buckston-on-Eno device.
I really liked the program and hope it's not defunct.
