[MR] Autumn Party VI

Greetings good Gentles of Atlantia!

This is a preliminary posting and request for help for Autumn Party VI - "Partito Di Autunno"
to be held on September 16-18 in the Shire of Crannog Mor.

"In 1494 Charles VIII of France invaded Italy, and was forced to retreat by the Coalition of Spain, the Holy Roman Empire, the Pope, Venice and Milan....  Join us on this festive date for the war between Italy, France and Spain to see if history can be rewritten!" 

The Acorn lists this event as "no fighting". This is a mistake! When the event date was reserved, there was no MIC listed, this has been changed, but has not yet made it's way into the Acorn. At present, there will be both a Heavy and a Rapier tourney, and hopefully much more at this event. Baron Achbar ibn Ali will be the Marshal in Charge for the event.

I am in need of volunteers to be marshals for Archery, Thrown Weapons, and Youth Combat.
I would also like someone to help with Childrens Activities.
If you would be willing to assist in any of these activities, please contact me, my information is below.

I am also searching for individuals or groups who would like to sponsor various A&S competitions. The Shire will be sponsoring an open Bardic contest, as well as a themed contest to go along with the event. However, any and all A&S competitions which someone would like to sponsor are greatly encouraged, and appreciated. Please contact me if you can sponsor a contest!

The Lady Graciela Esperanza de Sevilla, will be cooking a sumptous feast, and as always, promises that if you leave feast unsatisfied, that it will be your own fault! On top of that, the Shire will be serving Tavern Friday Night, Breakfast and Lunch on Saturday, and a light Breakfast on Sunday! All meals will be included in the event price!

A bardic and drumming circle is planned to follow our feasting, so bring your drums, instruments and those lovely voices!

The site is Camp Sky Ranch in Blowing Rock NC. The site is wet, has cabins and shower facilities with HOT water. Period tenting will be allowed.
