[MR] Heraldry - why?

Well, truth be told, the King and Queen aren't exactly the "average" SCAdians.  

That said, having personal heraldry allows one to be identified easily
at a distance.  When watching Crown Tournament last weekend I was able
to identify Sir Tascius by his heraldry, as well as Count (now Prince)
Janos.  It also allows one to identify one's "stuff" AND one's
encampment.  Imagine being able to tell your friends "My tent is the
canvas pavilion in W10 with the banner with the tree with the harp in
it".  Makes it real easy to find your pavilion.

Not to mention all the spiffy heraldic garb you can make. :)
