Thanks to everyone for edging information. I have one more question. I
am attempting to concave my 1/2" thick wooden shield. It is an oval
shape and I have a 3" cement block at the outer edges on each side. I
have then placed a large propane tank in the center (to retain
roundness) and stacked several more cement blocks atop that for
weight. I have been soaking the wood daily to hopefully soften and
eventually warp the shape. Is there some way to speed up this process?
(I have seen little to no results so far)
