Yes -- it's *another* reminder about the Arts & Sciences competitions
at Coronation!

There will be an open armor competition in a pavilion by the
tournament-field; any SCA time period or armor form is welcome. There
will be a competition for artworks featuring a fleur-de-lys in any
medium; they can, again, be any SCA time period. For both the armor
and fleur-de-lys competitions, documentation is encouraged, but not
required.

Tempore Atlantia (http://moas.atlantia.sca.org/tempore.htm) will cover
the years 1492-1600. Prizes will be given for Best In Show and Best
Documentation, as well as Best Work of Religious Art, Best Knitted
Item, Best Knitting-Related Research Paper, Best Poem, Best Lace Item,
and Best Beginner's Piece. Contact Maestra Jessamyn
(grace.morris at providenceday.org) for information about Tempore
Atlantia.

Check-in for the competitions will begin around 11:30 AM, following
Coronation Court. Plan to have your competition entry checked no later
than 2:00 PM. Entries should be picked up at 3:30 PM.

(If you would like to expedite check-in for your items, please fill out
http://moas.atlantia.sca.org/forms/alt.pdf for each of your entries;
the left-hand side should be turned in at the A&S check-in table, and
the right-hand side should be displayed with your entry.)

I would love to get some volunteers to help with checking in A&S
entries and assisting artisans to set up their work. Please email me
if you are interested.

Karen
