Hail the men-folk here in the Tavern!

Word has it that Crown Tourney, the illustrious fight for the honor of 
consort and Kingdom will take place in the glorious month of May on the days 
of the 6th, 7th, and 8th.  As I sit reviewing my calendar I see the 
celebration of Mothers is also held on the 8th of May.

Since many of you Lords and Fighters will bring along your consorts, wives 
and even children to participate in or observe and join in the festivities, 
I invite you to pay heed to my solicitation.

I propose the following as a way for the youth of our Kingdom to have 
opportunity to pay homage to their mothers.  A “secret” sale of donated 
bounty, which the children can purchase for a mere fraction of a dollar on 
Saturday to present to their mothers.

Nay, you have not to have children or even a wife to donate an item of 
treasure or beauty.  It need only fit inside a wee bag which measures 2 ½ x 
4 ½ x 5” tall.

How better to find a way to say “thank you for letting me play on your 
special day”?

call me at 410-233-1601.  Items can be brought or sent ahead (see!  You 
don’t even have to be there to contribute!).

PLEASE NOTE!!  There is no way to guarantee that what YOU donate will end up 
with someone you have in mind.  Small bags will be marked only as "sewing 
related", "archery related", "jewelry", etc.  PLEASE Do NOT send your family 
jewels or inheritance!
